Project Overview
The existing ‘A’ wing at Valley View Home was converted to a 14 unit independent living facility. Each unit consisted of a toilet room with shower, a kitchen, a bedroom and a living room. In the common area was an office, dining area, laundry and lounge.
Pyramid provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design and construction administration. The mechanical systems consisted of water source heat pumps to provide both heat and air conditioning. New lighting, power and fire alarm were provided under the electrical contract. Plumbing work consisted of providing ADA compliant water closets, lavatories, showers and kitchen sinks in each unit. The wing and crawl space were also protected with an automatic wet sprinkler system.
