Project Overview
Pyramid Engineering provided engineering services to Kasun Architects for the design of the new Lake Raystown Resort Conference Center located on Lake Raystown in Entriken, PA.
Designed to have a rustic feel, with a modern conference setting, wood, stone and open architecture are combined with contemporary elements.
The facility consists of a large ballroom, flexible meeting and conference rooms, a lounge and full service bar, exterior patio gathering areas, a full service commercial kitchen and administrative office spaces.
The HVAC system is hydronic based utilizing fan powered boxes to serve individual spaces. Heating is provided by boilers. Cooling is provided by rooftop units and air cooled condensing units. The plumbing system was designed meeting current codes and ADA standards. Plumbing fixtures and water coolers were provided as selected by the owner. Domestic water distribution and sanitary piping systems were also installed. New energy efficient lighting systems were installed in with automatic controls. Pyramid worked with a hospitality interior designer selected by the owner in the selection of the specialty lighting fixtures for the spaces. New fire alarm, security and structured cabling systems were also included.
